Number one on its Industrial software market, Quasar
Solutions weaves its web to the export.

Since its creation 20 years ago, Quasar Solutions conceives,
establishes and ensures the maintenance of industrial software
packages dedicated to the quality and management inspection . Until 2003, the Cran-Gevrier company belonged to the Focal group becomes Osiatis. «The edition and sofwares
division which I directed within Focal did not
belong to the trade of the group specialized in the
services. When this one wished to separate from the activity, I became
purchaser ", tells Henry Romagny, general manager and shareholder of
Quasar. The “spin off ” operation (1) was carried out by Michel
Bruchon, older financial director of the Image group, which holds the majority of the
capital.The software editor, which employs 17 people, realized in 2006 a turnover of 1,7 million euros in rise of 22 %. Its turnover reaches the 141 000 euros for a net income multiplied by two. «Our accounts are deposited each year at the France Bank where they have a financial position evaluation. Opened at all companies, the procedure constitutes a guarantee with respect to our customers and in particular of the great groups». Quasar reached a level of expertise which enables it to be the number one on its market by its profitability, its manpower, its turnover and its 200 customers. «Our solutions are functional because they were developed in narrow dialogue with industrialists, in particular of the valley of Arve. We also played the card of the geographical and physical proximity with our customers ", Henry Romagny continues. A DIVERSIFICATION POLICY Quasar Solutions who realized, five years ago, 60 % of its activity in the motor-car industry, decided to reduce this activity by half. In compensation,the company developed the aircraft industry with customers like Snecma, Messier-Bugatti and Turbomeca where it carries out today a third of its volumes. The third remaining comes from various sectors (agroalimentary, screw-cutting) and companies (Stäubli, Philips, Caterpillar...). In order to establish its growth, Quasar Solutions setting from now a geographical extension with the opening of an agency in the East of France at the beginning of 2008. On the international market Quasar starts to open its path with the Coface help. Already present in Canada and Switzerland via locals distributors, its get a foothold the last year in Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco where it has just signed its first business. By reinforcing its network in the Maghreb, but also in the emergent countries of Eastern Europe and in the French-speaking countries, it intends to double, within three years, its activity in the international.
