For one year, we have promoted our products in Northern Africa countries. Being in charge of this project, I have became fond of travels. But beware: even for the sunny weather, it is all about the business, not holidays!
 We set appointments and perform numerous demonstrations. All of this has paid off as we jus set up our first client in Morocco, A2S company.Usually, targeted companies manage their core business through Excel or Access. Thanks to our presentations, our contacts understand quickly what we can do for them: provide dependable data for everyone inside their company and create appropriate indicators in an adaptable and user-friendly way. For this first project, I have worked along with QMS (Quality, Methods and Services), our local dealer. Since 1999, QMS helps company managers to improve on several topics: production management, logistics, industrial organisation and maintenance. They help companies to create their processes, a capital first step towards continuous improvement. They also manage software integration for their clients, particulary on our solutions. In a near future, we will teeach QMS people so they will be able to run projects on their own. But our Northern Africa project is not limited to Morocco. Other experiences are under way in Algeria and Tunisia. We will give you an extended coverage about these in our newsletter’ next issue as it will be fully dedicated to our overseas projects. A sunny taste of upcoming holidays!

  The
last June, you participated in our User Club. A real success because more than 170 participants were there. This year, what event we will organize for our customers ? We proposes a new type of event, smaller than the user club, but still interesant ! The QUASAR Solutions Round Table Conferences will be present throughout this year 2008. These Round Table Conferences will start by the development of new functionalities, the presentation of new modules ... it regroups the industrialist which have the same kind of problem and wants to participate in the development of our product. The meeting becomes rich in exchange and discussion around the experiences and concrete achievements. The “2008” menu is not already fixed but we have some subjects that seems relevant : The Q4 news, the Web approach, the analysis and dashboard, the DMS with our VDOC partner... You can send your suggestions to , we are waiting for your reactions in order that these conferences are a real success !

Having
for objectif to comunicate and share always more with our customers and
partners, we decided to dynamize our presence on line with an update
work of our site.
A technical development enable us to adapt our quasar-solutions.fr site in order to intervene more easily in the content to enrich and give it life. We want that our site could be the reflect of our company life and a link between you and your editor. The current events are regularly update giving all informations about shows, news, articles, ect... The partners with whom we propose more complete solutions, have a presence more visible on the site, and their news follow the development of their offers and our needs. The customer area, now available, also allows an exchanges more “confidential” between we and you. You can find in this space the documentations, several helps, and the forum guides. We will make our best in order to enliven the customer area but we need you in order to make this space convivial and especially helpful.

The
Q4 general concepts are concentrated on the ergonomics : simplification
of the product, more easy browser, integration of last
technologies.
The immediate effects have a big flexibility, an increased effectiveness. But the Q4 go further ! Making a zoom on the metrology modules and not-conformities. Metrology :

But this first 2008
event, once more aroused some interrogations.
In spite of annonced increase of visiteur, we was disappointed by the number of participants. A lot of conferences were cancelled !  Then, should we stop the
events and focus our work on internet, for example ?Or maybe should we to practice the events in other way while creating the event on a large scale ? As many subjects which we questioned. After think about this, we going turned toward the first option. Like this, Quasar Solutions will be present in some events in Tunisia and Morocco in the frame of our Maghreb project. In france, we will be present in 2008 only in the Expoqualita event in Annecy on next October. Finally, last information, at the occasion of a DMS integration in Quasar suite, we will participate in VDOC day. But be patient, you will have more details in our next edition.
