Is the time to make assessment and of course the projects !
The two big projects who monopolized our resources are indisputably :
the Q4 version of our leader product for the suite dedicated to the quality control and in particular in QUASAR the QS-SPC and QS-CAPA modules,
and the integration of the manufacturing follow-up module : QS-FAB in the QUASAR software suite.
These functionalities oriented to the production is enriched by the production management indicators, the follow-up of the tools and grinding,… in order to build an offer of the type MES (Manufacturing Executive System).
These realizations involve a fabulous work of group and a very important investment ...
For 2008?
Is the time to work with serenity, by developing a more reactive organization based on a quality step oriented to ISO !
In term of exchanges with our customers and our next users : a communication centre is set up this year with the aim to better inform you.
The two strong points of 2007 were the user club in june, and the creation of our “informations letter” ! These two points knew a real success, and this thanks to the efforts of the staff. Thanks again!
The wind pushes us towards new exchanges and very exciting tasks. We wait to share with you these serenity moments.

In the life of a company, arrives moments when it is necessary to communicate in “reasonably” manner. Indeed, it is important for it to profit its communication budgets, avoid to scatter in a multitude of actions which will be a wasted effort.
For an effective visual development, it is essential to establish a graphic coherence on the whole documents and supports, essential for the company. With this aim in view, QUASAR Solutions and OBILOG called Effervescence, workshop of graphic design, established in annecy, in order to set up a coherent communication.
Last realization, a brochure with advertisement and kakemono, about aeronautics area. The objective was not to flatter the targeted companies, but to borrow in a subtle way some of the strong values related to the aeronautics: reliability, safety, power, flexibility… so as to show that these requirements are shared.
Other advantage of a reasoned communication: the reflexion part will be re-used for other sectors like the agroalimentary, the medical and automotive.

OBILOG culture and to find itself in the center of our concerns in order to bring us a different glance.

If you have a lot of time that you did not go on our website, Do it ! We had two orientations in our communication project by the net: to communicate about us and the second point gave place to the second communication project for this year: the customer area.
For the launching, we selected some interesting functionalities :
You can, from the start-up, to use a forum: this one will enable you, after your registration, to exchange between customers about our products
- We will find the FAQ (Frequently Asked Question and their solution). This section will be initialized with some cases and will evolve throughout the year 2008 according to the received calls.
- We also envisaged a space for the information about the versions and the whole of our products.
- Lastly, a private area will be reserved to you to deposit the updates or others documents concerning you.
We hope that this site will answer your waiting. Anyway we are sure : the customer area will live and will evolve thanks to you !

An ambition : to satisfy you !
For us the satisfaction of our customers, as well on the software and services is fundamental.
You expressed your satisfaction at the time of your participation in the several activities organized by QUASAR like the users club or on the events, and by expressing you through the newspaper underlining the efficiency of our software.
Each year we make an assessment to analysis your satisfaction level, sometimes with the helps of an opinion poll by telephone or mail, and also by processing the results of the interventions cards. This year our technical team spent approximately 165 days with our customers, distributed between training and assistance (technical, functional, or other). We met more than 300 people for the training in our solutions use. (1) This reveals that your satisfaction relating to our interventions is close to 95%.
All the same of these very good results, the year 2008 will be for us a change in the search for a customer satisfaction always in progression.
And for this reason we reinforced the structure destinated to the tests, to the realization of a documentation even more complete, more relevant according to the customers needs and the targeted trades.
Our efforts in this satisfaction search concerne also our international customers with the integration of a translation department in order to update the programs.
We proposed an exchange pole and the presentation of our achievements in order to have your opinion about what will be the theme for QUASAR at the time of the users club. Of course we wish more interactivity with you by the installation of Internet tools that you requested.
Each day we work in order to reduce the answer times with the sending of emails, at the time of the phone calls processing, by the visits of the business engineers and our technicians. We also work with the improvement of our own management tools, so that they are more powerful as well for the follow-up of your calls as for the follow-up of visit.
All these efforts "recompense" because the indices of your satisfaction are in advances. We thank you for your confidence and the quality of the relations which we share with you.

With the new module version : “Management of the Nonconformities and Correctives actions"
Quasar continues the migration of its modules in version 4. The module of the "Nonconformities" do not escape to this deep graphic and ergonomics evolution, the user interface being re-examined as well in the content as in the form to propose a better use, with more legibility and comprehension.
Its ergonomics approach to the "MSP/SPC" module :
- the shortcuts (integration of the function keys)
- more actual colors (studied with the help of an ergonomic consultants)
- the assisted data entries were integrated, which makes possible to have the lists according to the elements to be informed.
The elementary functionalities remain always the same ones, but is added to it news, which still enriches the product and offers even more possibilities. A parameterizable screen by a simple click makes possible to see the necessary informations, in text or graphic forms.
Like that, the synthesis of the declaration was reorganized to approach the maximum of needs (according to our customer requests). The user chooses what he wants to display in the screen.

- status of the action plans associated either with the declaration or defect itself
The capture of the defects is optimized. It becomes faster and more comfortable to fill a declaration of nonquality internal, external, CS, and consequently saving-time.
The management of the action plans, it also, is re-examined for a better legibility
- with more details (a management of the evolution status by action of the plan)
- the analysis more complete about the evolution with graphic management (by graphic bar)
- The recall possibility is in study
The recognized principle of the user profil managements gains in flexibility, thanks to the new ergonomics, which gives more flexibility and personalization in the declarations capture.
It is important to note that the structure of the data base is preserved to allow an easier migration and also to offer a saving- time and resources.
