The Aeronautics industry goes well and will create more than 7000 employments over the 2007-year! The order books are filled because the companies renew their planes and are equipped with more powerful device and which consume less fuel taking into account the price of oil.

QUASAR, thanks to important collaborations, in particular, with the SAFRAN Group knew to develop a "verticalised" offer; in order to better answer the requirements of the aeronautics industry.

The stakes are important :

  • the relation with the suppliers with the processing module of the nonconformities (FTNC and DAC)
  • the 8D
  • the collaboratif mode on a world wide level with "full web" solutions
  • deployment in 4 languages of the SPC / MSP module
  • and another evolutions to integrate into the work station the interfaces increasingly simple and ergonomics : touch screens, Web browser or by the numerical styles.

Ratier-Figeac, who manufactures critical parts like the enormous order jack of the A380 horizontal stabilizer, or the immense blades propellers of the A400M, unexpected very strong quality constraints.

Subsidiary of the american Hamilton Sunstrand (United Technologies Corporation), the supplier equipment was not satisfied any more with its inspection device : "In spite of the presence of 130 controllers, we did not have reliable information about the statistical follow-up of the defects nor of analysis of the causes of nonconformity of a part ", explain Yves Bastit, the person in charge for the quality control of Ratier-Figeac (150 million euros of turnover in 2006).
Within the framework of an improvement plan impelled by its shareholder, Ratter-Figeac obtained a software developed by OPSIO subsidiary company of QUASAR Solutions, who allows to optimise the quality inspection.

The stake
Improvement of the quality of the process
The objective was to reduce the number of nonconforming parts manufactured, compared to the average characteristics calculated before, and to know the causes of nonconformity. Gradually, the SPC was established in various workshops of the Figeac site, including the training of 300 people. Today, Ratier-Figeac is almost at the end of the project with approximately 80 % of the production under SPC and 100 installed stations.

The results
The reduction of the production costs and those related to the inspection operations
The production costs were reduced of approximately 10 %, and the quality reaching cost bring back at the turnover (150 million euros in 2006) passed from 3,5 % to 1,9 %.
The costs linked at the rejects and rework were decreased on 50 %.
The company use 60 quality controllers against to 130 before.
Moreover, it divided by ten the operations of industrial measurement.

Riddle :

They are at the origin of our good mood !

In one word, They have energy!

Additional indices :
They were your hostesses at the time of the User club on June 7th 2007, but they are present on our day-to-day
of course, they are our two commercial and administrative assistants !

Maryse she receive you every day with her good mood and her smile, which is perceived even in the telephone... its talent of operator, is not her first role, because her passion is the theatre. Adherent to a local troop, she plays the comedy, the drama, the comic one and these multiple facets make the happiness of our customers whom she knows to listen and to understand.

Sylvie
, responsibility of the service, takes over when Maryse is not in the office, in particularly on Wednesday. Her passion is more physical, because she does not stop to make all the tops of our beautiful area and to walk round the lake does not frighten her (42 Km). You are reassured, this relaxation activity will not be proposed in next the "Users Club”! Her listening and her devotion to our customers make the unanimity...

At the time of the SOFWARES event who was held at Annecy in the last October, we joined the great festival of Rugby.

And even if our waiting were not filled at the time of this World coup, we were present at this appointment with the distribution of almost 200 rugby balls for the joy of old and young. !

The nonquality is managed in the Quasar suite by the traditional QS-NC/AC module in “Windows” mode. It allows the nonconformities data entry, the action plan management and the processing by the parameterizable balance sheets.

QUASAR-Solutions proposes a new "processing module of the NonQuality" in Web mode, currently in test in MESSIER-BUGATTI. Olivier MOREL, project manager, and Jonathan BOESCH, Quality user, help us to define the functionalities to be integrated and to propose a simple, intuitive and practical software.

The objective is to create a site "Supplier Quality" MESSIERBUGATTI in order that the suppliers can record by themselves the nonconformity declarations. The declarations are subjected to MESSIER-BUGATTI and integrated after processing in the QUASAR standard data.

The advantages are numerous :
  • access to the NonQuality QUASAR external (NQE) from whatever PC connected to Internet,
  • access allowed to the suppliers and internal users,
  • reduction of the exchanges with the supplier and saving of time for the description of nonconformities (telephone, documents paper),
  • direct recording by the supplier, and automatic description by email at the MESSIER-BUGATTI privileged interlocutor,
  • follow-up by the supplier of the declarations, action plans follow-up , preview of the balance sheet with graphic representation.
With "QS-NC/AC_web", QUASAR Solutions completes its offer in "Web mode", who comprises already the modules "Display of the inspection chart" and "Management of the complaints".
